The law of attraction

When you first hear the law of attraction it may cause you to roll your eyes. However, it is not some mystical force that attracts wonderful things in life free of effort. It is a method of programming your subconscious mind to get what you want. Our subconscious mind knows what we REALLY want, and it will almost always make sure we get that. So, if you subconsciously love cookies, it is really hard for you to resist them when you are hungry at night. No matter how much you try to resist, your subconscious desires will soon get the best of you. This is why some people repeatedly attract the same type of partner into their lives; they have not corrected their subconscious thoughts and desires so they will continue to seek and attract the same type of person into their lives. Our subconscious is always watching and listening, so what you listen to and watch the most has a huge impact on your subconscious thoughts and desires. The trick is to program exactly what you want into your subconscious so that you have no choice but to go out and get it. The idea that you just attract what you want into your life effortlessly is not so outlandish because when you program exactly what you want in your subconscious you cannot help but work toward what you want, you will not even have to think about doing it, just like you don’t have to think about doing anything you truly love to do.

So, how do you program your desires into your subconscious? You can do this through meditating in a very specific way. There are 3 aspects: visualization, mantra & emotion.

You must visualize exactly what you want. Try to imagine it down to the T. For example, if you want an apple, imagine exactly which apple you want. The color, size, shape everything. Then, you have your mantra which is a phrase that affirms exactly what it is you want. And finally, you infuse emotion into this experience. Emotion is the most important part because this is the where the energy comes from. You must feel what it would feel like to have exactly what you want as if you already have it.

Here is an example if you want to attract more money into your life:

I would visualize myself wearing a fitted, blue suit, walking down my ginormous driveway and stepping into my matte black Ferrari. As I am doing this, I chant in my head “I have so much money, I am so successful, I have many nice things, I am so rich, blah blah”. Finally, I feel it. I feel the firm, leather seats and the tight, sleek steering wheel. I smile and feel a rush of excitement and contentment. I do this for about 5-10 mins every morning and night to really instill it in my subconscious. Most people fall asleep to TV and wake up to their phone. But, this is the best opportunity for you to access your subconscious since your in a drowsy state. During that transition from wake to sleep or sleep to wake, you meditate and practice this technique to bypass the conscious mind and go deeper into the subconscious.

I do not have my Ferrari yet, but one day I will. I have truly felt the power of this working as I find myself constantly working. I no longer think of working as work because I have told myself over and over again what it is that I want. I know that if I want a lot of money and a Ferrari, I have to be working incessantly on accomplishing my goals and adding value to myself. I feel guilty if I do not put in work every single day and my future is always on my mind. It is not magically coming to me, but it is a hell of a lot easier when your mind works for you vs. against you.
